Handmade Tasting at Foley Johnson
Foley Johnson Winery is perfectly situated in the heart of Napa Valley, located in the Rutherford appellation. Conveniently nestled along the historic Highway 29, Foley Johnson attracts fans that are looking for great quality wines and friendly service.
Named after owners Bill Foley and his wife, Carol Johnson Foley, this namesake winery prides itself on being a testament to Bill and Carol’s passion for family and wine.
For those looking to visit, the property showcases a truly unique wine tasting experience. The Handmade Tasting is a wine compilation focusing on small production lots and featuring wines that are often referred to as the best of the portfolio. Each winemaker is commissioned to make a unique wine that best represents his or her region. With selections such as Patrick Foley’s Rutherford Handmade Cabernet or Steve Nelson’s Chalk Hill Handmade Chardonnay, these wines are set apart by their style and flavor. The Handmade Series Collection is exclusively found at Foley Johnson Winery.

Chalk Hill Culinary Tour & Tasting
Your adventure will begin by touring the estate’s private culinary garden, where organically-farmed produce is the inspiration for our Executive Chef’s culinary artistry. Following a brief excursion through the vineyards, you will arrive at a gorgeous setting — a conservatory overlooking the equestrian center with panoramic views of the Chalk Hill valley. There, you will enjoy a sit-down tasting of our exquisite estate wines paired with culinary offerings from our Estate Chef.
Available by appointment Tuesday through Saturday at 10 am. We are unable to accommodate pets (unless they are service animals) and anyone under the age of 21 on our Culinary Tours.

Sebastiani Wine and Cheese Pairing
You will be introduced to the secrets behind a perfect wine and cheese pairing. It includes Sebastiani wines paired with local artisan cheeses. Your palate will thank you as you discover the gastronomical pleasures that occur when a pairing is just right!

Reserve Tasting at Kuleto Estate
Enjoy a sampling of Kuleto Estate’s small production wines in one of our private tasting rooms. Limited production wines such as Sangiovese, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and our Vineyard Designate Cabernet Sauvignons are poured. Produced in amounts that are generally 300 hundred cases or less, these wines highlight the remarkable diversity of our mountain estate. Available by appointment only Thursday-Sunday at 10:00am.
