Dark berry color and aromas of jam, anise, mocha and sweet spice are met with big, jammy flavors and smooth tannin.

Winemaker Notes
Zinfandel is a red wine grape estimated to have been planted in California as early as the mid-1800s. Today, more than ten percent of California's vines are planted to Zinfandel. Our 2012 is a testament to the variety - a dark berry color and aromas of jam, anise, mocha and sweet spice are met with big, jammy flavors and smooth tannin.

Production Notes
2012 was a textbook growing season in the Paso Robles. A mild winter with modest rainfall led to a warm, sunny California summer. The mild weather encouraged healthy vines and steady growth. As a result, we have an outstanding lineup of some of the most varietally true and delectable wines we have ever produced.
