Winemaker Notes
For the Cube Project, three wineries located in different regions – Anne Amie Vineyards, Bouchaine Vineyards, and Lincourt Vineyards – produced Pinot Noirs from each other’s sites. By comparing the wines, we are able to study (and enjoy) the impact of winemaking technique vs. terroir.

Production Notes
After harvest, the juice and skins of the fruit were cold-soaked prior to fermentation and then gently punched down for full flavor extraction. After primary fermentation was complete, the new wine was drained and the skins were gently pressed. This Pinot Noir was barrel aged in 40% new French oak for 16 months.
Vineyard Notes
This Pinot Noir came from the Anne Amie Vineyard located on Mineral Springs Ridge in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA within Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Shadowed by the Pacific Coast Range, the vineyard site offers Willakenzie soils, relatively warm days and brisk, cool nights. All the grapes for this Pinot were harvested between September 4th and November 10th, 2012.
