Ingredients
- 4 slices ciabatta or country bread
- 1 large ripe tomato, sliced
- 4 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter (for grilling)
Directions
- Layer tomato, mozzarella, and fresh basil leaves on two slices of bread.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and top with remaining bread slices.
- Brush outside of sandwiches with olive oil or butter.
- Grill in a panini press or skillet over medium heat until golden and cheese is melted (about 4 minutes per side if using skillet).
- Slice and serve warm.
