Lancaster Estate’s 53-acres of vineyards are born from the rich, volcanic soils and rolling hillsides of Alexander Valley. It is the great diversity of soil along with the cool evenings and sun drenched days that create ideal growing conditions for Bordeaux varietals. At Lancaster Estate, we are dedicated to growing Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Petite Verdot and Cabernet Franc with the explicit intention of producing the most authentic expression possible.
Whether you choose to come during our bustling harvest season or to enjoy the budbreak in spring, all four seasons are visually stunning at Lancaster Estate. Vineyard colors vary from lush greens in late May through summer to a palette of rich purples and greens in the fall. During your stay, experience one of Lancaster Estate’s library tastings, winemaker’s dinners or blending seminars offered throughout the year.
