A deep, rich marinade that enhances the smoky char of grilled steaks—perfect for summer cookouts and bold red wine lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks

Directions

  • Whisk together all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
  • Place steaks in a zip-top bag and pour in the marinade.
  • Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or up to 8 hours).
  • Remove from marinade and grill over medium-high heat for 4–6 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
  • Rest steaks for a few minutes before serving.
