A light, zesty twist on classic sangria, perfect for warm-weather brunches.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle Pinot Grigio (or another dry white wine)
- ¼ cup orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- ½ cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1-2 tablespoons honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup sparkling water (or club soda)
- Ice
Directions
In a large pitcher, combine the wine, orange liqueur, and fruit slices.
Stir in the honey or simple syrup. Let sit for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours) in the fridge.
When ready to serve, add ice and top with sparkling water.
Serve in wine glasses with extra fruit slices for garnish.
