Tasting Notes

Aromas of spice, raspberry, cherry, mushroom, cranberry, and forest floor provide an intriguing invitation. On the palate, the wine is smooth and complex, built on a foundation of dark fruit with notes pomegranate, and vanilla.

On the palate, the wine is bold, yet the balance of rustic tannins and acid are in perfect harmony. The flavor profile is deeply layered, with evolving characters from entry through the long finish. Drinking well now, with proper cellaring this wine is expected to age well for 5-7 years.

Welcome to the Winner’s Circle. This bottling of exquisite Pinot Noir comes from the Winner’s Circle Vineyard located in the picturesque Russian River Valley. The cool-climate coupled with fine sandy loam soil is ideal for growing superior quality Pinot Noir, and our 2024 bottling is a beautiful representation of that. We selected only the very best lots for this blend, using a variety of clones including Calera, WIN-03, Swan 97, and WIN-10.

2024 growing season conditions were great from the start. Abundant rainfall and consistent weather patterns kept the vineyards on an ideal schedule, allowing for optimal fruit development. Aromas of spice, raspberry, cherry, mushroom, cranberry, and forest floor provide an intriguing invitation. On the palate, the wine is smooth and complex, built on a foundation of dark fruit with notes pomegranate, and vanilla. Drinking well now, with proper cellaring this wine is expected to age well for 5-7 years.
