Deepsown Pinot Noir

The Four Graces

Dundee Hills

“Deepsown” is named for the famous Jory soil where the vineyards for this wine are grown at the Foley Family Estate in the Dundee Hills AVA. The deep, well-drained, reddish colored Jory soil is lush, nutrient-rich and derived from sedimentary and volcanic bedrock.

Tasting Notes

Our 2021 Deepsown Pinot Noir is synonymous with elegance and finesse. Aromatics of redolent cherry and raspberry are accented by notes of allspice, mocha and Douglas fir tips. The palate draws you in with flavors of baked strawberry tart and hints of spice with fine tannins and refreshing acidity. Rich and seamless, this wine is very transparent in that it reflects all aspects of its crafting: from the climate and soil, to the vineyard and through the slow and gentle fermentation.
