Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups sparkling wine (Brut or Prosecco)
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest

Directions

  • Heat lemon juice and sugar in a saucepan until dissolved, then cool.
  • Stir in sparkling wine and zest, pour into a shallow dish, and freeze.
  • Every 30 minutes, scrape with a fork to create fluffy ice crystals.
  • Serve in small cups with a lemon twist.
